In 2020 Geoff continued and expanded his toolmaking courses at the new forge adjoining the Molong Workshop with Ian Percival (a man who knows all things steel).
I had attended one of these courses myself in the previous year and would highly recommend it.
I chose to make a hook knife to be used at one of Jeff Donne’s (Spoonsmith) courses. The hook knife was cut out of an old saw blade then forged into a blade on the blacksmith’s anvil, then quenched, sharpened and polished. The handle was an offcut of Macassar Ebony.
